News release, -- August 2, 2004 -- The VibraSens PC based automated dynamic pressure calibration system provides calibration of dynamic pressure transducer ranging from charge and voltage type piezoelectric sensors. Test sensor output can be single-ended or differential, ac or dc coupled, isolated or grounded. With 2 bars (31 PSI) dynamic, our system provides better signal noise ratio at low frequency than pistonphone used to calibrate microphones and other acoustic sensors. The periodic signal helps us to use digital filtering cross correlation technic that greatly improved signal noise ratio. Using Computer control, we have also been able to implement comparison calibration with substitution that virtually eliminates uncertainties due to temperature variation and signal conditioner gain on the entire frequency range. Its operationall software is based on National Instrument Labview to ensure minimum operator error and enhances repeatability. Comments
